Description: This data contains the Address Points for the City of McKinney and its ETJ. The addresses within the city limits are assigned and maintained by City of McKinney GIS. Address points outside the city limits but within ETJ are assigned and co-ordinated with Collin County GIS. Address points for the entire County is downloaded on a bi-annual basis and new points added by County GIS which fall outside our city limits are then added to our address points layer. Public safety CAD system can only consume one address layer and so we cannot maintain two point layers - one for within city limits and one outside city limits.
