Service Description: Last Updated: March 19, 2019Update Schedule: ContinuousAnimal Control is located within the Code Services Department of the Development Services Division in the City of McKinney. Animal Control is tasked with minimizing the public health threat from the Rabies virus; as part of this mandate, a wild animal trapping program is maintained. Citizens may request an animal trap be deployed on their property. The Animal Control Traps layer is updated continuously by office and field staff within the Animal Control team as traps are deployed and recovered. The primary workflow for data edits is through ArcCollector in the field by Animal Control staff, the secondary workflow is through an AGOL web-based application by the Code Services administrative assistant. In addition to photo attachments, the following data are captured:Trap Identification Number, Physical Trap Type, Targeted Animal, Trap Issued ByIssuant Name, Address, Contact Number, Alternative Contact NumberDate Issued, Date Returned, Trap Recieved By
